Dutch sports promoter wants to organize MXGP in Rio de Janeiro
Sports promoter Van Dam from Assen, Netherlands, had previously brought the MXGP to the TT circuit, but now they are looking beyond the borders. Lee and Hilde Van Dam from the LDP company want to bring the MXGP to Rio for three years.
The costs in Assen were high, partly due to the mass of sand that had to be delivered every time and the rental of the circuit. There is currently no Motocross World Championship in Brazil, but this initiative could make it possible again in the future. The RTV Drenthe website explains how father and daughter Van Dam want to approach this. You can read the article via this link.
