Yentel Martens takes the victory in Vlissingen
After a brief absence, the beach race in Vlissingen returned to the international calendar. Due to the cancellation of the first 24MX Championnat de France des sables in Berck-sur-Mer, Yentel Martens could be added to the list of participants at the last minute. While other specialists ignored the race, it was Martens who managed to triumph in both heats. The Honda rider has already won the event twice, now he won ahead of Sven van der Mierden and Alexis Collignon.
The 250cc class was won by Jens Walvoort. The Brabander has been riding for the Zeeland Motor2000 KTM Racing Team for years and that meant an important victory for him. The 125cc victory went to Damien Knuiman, he did not win a round but he did win the day's classification by crossing the finish line in second place in both rounds.
