Reactions to Frits van Eerd's house search
The news of the FIOD raid on the private home of Jumbo CEO Frits van Eerd this morning caused quite a stir. The investigation into money laundering practices in which Van Eerd is mentioned is therefore front-page news in both the Netherlands and Belgium.
In the meantime, there are also various reactions from the motocross world to this remarkable incident. The owner of the Negaan Husqvarna Factory Racing Team, sponsored by Jumbo, is also involved in the management of the Jumbo-sponsored Jeffrey Herlings and reacted with shock to this news. “I fell off my chair in amazement when I read it this morning,” he told Algemeen Dagblad.
