No Brent Van Doninck in Turkey
Brent Van Doninck will not go to Turkey despite a very impressive season in the extremely competitive MXGP class. The Belgian has admitted he is disappointed not to take part in the final Grand Prix of the season. Teammate Joël Rizzi of Riley Racing Yamaha will also not travel to Afyon.
Brent said on social media: “Very disappointed that we are not going to Turkey. This means that my season is over… I feel like I made a good step this year and it was reflected in my results. Time to enjoy life a little now and then we'll get back to work for 2023.” The reason why the team is missing out on this last MXGP is not known.
