VIDEO: A test of Antonio Cairoli's KTM 450SXF
Our colleagues from Motocross Action Magazine had the unique opportunity to ride Antonio Cairoli's KTM on the Fox Raceway circuit in Pala. The machine is assembled with parts from the team in the United States, but also with parts from the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team in Europe.
It is this bike that Cairoli rode at the first four AMA Nationals. On the 450SXF you'll find a host of parts that aren't available in stores, such as 3D-printed footpegs, an ultra-rigid fork with 52mm stanchions, factory brakes with Delran inserts, and a custom transmission.
There are also the well-known Pirelli tires, modified GET launch control, a master brake cylinder from an older version of the front brake and much more. The American riders use very different parts, which makes it very interesting to swing a leg over this motorcycle.
