Dave Thorpe's career appears in book form
More and more motocross riders are publishing a book and now it is Dave Thorpe's turn. Thorpe won three world titles and fought fierce duels with Eric Geboers, Georges Jobé and André Malherbe. The book will be released on August 25 and can be ordered online.
The Brit must have found a lot of inspiration from the recent books by Rob Andrews (The Inside Line) and Marc de Reuver (Open). He now tells the story of his career and especially that of winning the three world titles in 1985, 1986 and 1989 in the 500cc class. Dave Thorpe is still the last Briton with a world title in the premier class of motocross. The book was entitled “No regrets”. You can find all information at https://davethorpe.co.uk.
