Brent Van Doninck happy with his performance in Sweden
Brent Van Doninck performed very well in Uddevalla. The Yamaha rider finished seventh in the daily rankings and was able to add 25 points to his total. The rider born in Herentals was happy with his performance. The Riley Racing rider looks back on the Swedish Grand Prix and looks ahead to the last three MXGP races of the season.
Brent Vandoninck:
“This was overall my best Grand Prix, I managed to score better results earlier this season, but never two heats in one day. Now both heats in the top ten thanks to two good starts and that of course makes a big difference. The driving went very well and it also felt good to be at the front! I hope to score well in the last three games, certainly in the top ten and perhaps even higher. I am now 13th in the championship despite missing Argentina and Indonesia. I also failed to score a few times and when I add that up I am close to the top ten. Not bad I think for a private team, on to Finland!”
