VIDEO: A new life for the mighty KX500
Together with the Honda CR500, the Kawasaki KX500 has become more popular than they ever were in five years. These powerful machines have become a hype and will cost you a fortune if you want to purchase one.
To be clear: these 500cc two-strokes are no longer produced but are the subject of many restoration projects worldwide. Nowadays they yield more than bitcoin and their value exceeds the purchase price at the time. The Kawasaki KX500 is extremely powerful, difficult to control in some situations and it is best to always have a bottle of threadlocker at hand because the nuts and bolts come loose due to the strong vibrations of the machine. In short, the KX500 is a machine with cult status made for a dying breed of motocross riders with balls on their bodies.
