Teunis Spijkerman about his EMX65 final
With seventeenth place in the European 65cc Championship, Teunis Spijkerman became the best Dutchman. The GasGas rider was particularly impressed by the circuit and the entire MXGP circus. After a successful time training, it had to happen during the competitions. The RoofCon Racing rider had to be satisfied with eight points, here the 9-year-old rider from Kallenkote talks about his competitions.
Teunis Spijkerman:
“The fourteenth time was good because I was too tense in the initial phase. After a short pit stop and some tips, luckily things went better. The start of the first heat was very good, I was fifth for a while, but the riding did not go well. I dropped back to 13th place but I am very happy with the points. The second heat was not good, the riding did not go well and the nerves continue to bother me. I kept driving, so I managed to make up some places later in the race to finish 22nd. I want to thank everyone who helped us get here.”
