MXGP of France next year in Villars-sous-Ecot
Today, promoter Infront Moto Racing announced that the 2023 French Grand Prix will take place in Villars-sous-Ecot. It will have been six years since the MXGP caravan stopped at this place.
Villars was first included in the World Championship calendar in 1982, when André Malherbe won the 500cc GP there. The last time an MXGP was held was in 2017. Thomas Covington (MX2) and Jeffrey Herlings (MXGP) won. Villars-sous-Ecot is located in the east of France near the Swiss border just below the town of Belfort.
