IMBA: Steffi Laier in a class of her own
In Feldkirch, Austria, the ladies competed for the IMBA championship for the first time this season. It was Steffi Laier who was by far the strongest this day. The German four-time world champion participates in this battle with a Belgian license and won all three heats.
Britt van der Werff (Ned) was by far the “best of the rest” with three second place in the heats. Jenitty van der Beek took third place in the daily rankings. The young Dutch woman finished fourth and third twice in the heats. Switzerland's Michelle Zünd finished in fourth place and Germany's Carmen Allinger completed the top five.
On August 7, the ladies will compete again in Warsage, Belgium.
