Benistant on pole, Geerts starts third
For the second time this season, Thibault Benistant can start from pole position. The Frenchman wins the qualifying race on the Loket circuit. Andrea Adamo crosses the finish line second ahead of Jago Geerts. The Yamaha rider manages to pass Tom Vialle with two laps to go. The leader in the standings is fourth for Simon Langenfelder.
The best Dutchman is Kay de Wolf, the Eersel native crosses the finish line in sixth place. Liam Everts places ninth. Kay Karssemakers rides a strong race and crosses the finish line in thirteenth place and debutant Lucas Coenen finishes sixteenth. Sacha Coenen (32nd), Pako Destercq (33rd) and Florent Lambillon (34th) have to settle for a supporting role.
Both competitions for points will be held tomorrow. The first heat starts at 13:15 am, the second follows at 16:10 pm. The matches can be watched LIVE via MXGP-TV, Eurosport2, the EurosportPlayer and via PlaySports.
