Bas Verhoeven back on stage in Lommel
On July 10, 2005, Bas Verhoeven was on stage in Lommel. The Brabander won the MX3 Grand Prix of Belgium ahead of KTM riders Sven Breugelmans and Yves DeMaria. Last Sunday, more than 17 years later, the now 39-year-old Verhoeven took the stage again. Now as team boss because his pupil Lucas Coenen won both heats during the EMX250 at “Circuit De Heeserbergen”. Verhoeven has been active on European circuits with his BT Racing Team for years.
