VIDEO: the Erzbergrodeo is back
For the next four days, all eyes will be on the Austrian village of Eisenerz. For the first time since 2019, the infamous Erzbergrodeo is back. The riders come from all over the world, regardless of profession or age, from factory riders to amateurs and hobby riders – and they have one thing in common: they are tough. And they have one major opponent: The Iron Giant.
Not even Hollywood can provide more excitement and sensation. 1500 participants compete for 500 starting places. Amateurs and famous superstars stand shoulder to shoulder on the starting line. The “Blaklader Iron Road Prologue” is the Erzberg's first test, and only the best survive the pressure to give everything on a brutal gravel circuit.
The more they are tortured and humiliated, the more enthusiastically they spread the story of the toughest one-day race in the world. Only real fighters take up this challenge. They spare neither their bodies nor their motorcycles. The Erzbergrodeo starts tomorrow June 16 and runs for four days until June 19.
