Amber Simons won the first heat and with third place in the second heat she became second in the daily rankings. Britt van der Werff could not get further than fourth place after a fall in the first moto. With second place in the second heat she became third in the daily rankings. First heat
Simons was the best way ahead of van der Werff, van Dam, van der Beek and Millie Welters. Simons quickly took a small lead and was soon chased by van der Beek who had climbed to second place. Van der Werff had crashed and had to start a catch-up race from behind. Van Dam was in third place and Braam passed Welters to take fourth place. Halfway through the heat, van der Beek was on Simons' rear wheel. Well behind, it was still Van Dam who again had an advantage over Braam. Van der Werff had found her way to the front and passed Welters to come through fifth. Simons managed to withstand the pressure and kept van der Beek behind him to win the round. Van Dam followed well behind. Van der Werff overtook Braam and came in fourth, five seconds behind him. Braam saw the checkered flag in fifth place.
