Fueri beats Valk in direct combat
The sixth race of the European 125cc Championship Presented by FMF Racing was won by Alexis Fueri. The Fantic rider wins with a second and first place on the MSC Teutschenthal circuit. Cas Valk (4-2) comes second ahead of Ferruccio Zanchi (3-3). Ivano van Erp finished fourth during this second round, but unfortunately he did not finish the first round.
When the starting gate drops for the second heat, Fueri makes a very good start and no longer loses the lead. Valk follows in second place from the first jump and he no longer leaves his teammate alone. The Frenchman makes no mistake and Fueri wins for Valk. In the initial phase Zanchi is able to keep Marco Maddii's riders in his sights, but he later has to let go and then drives a lonely race. Van Erp has problems in the initial phase, but he comes back very strong. The Yamaha rider sets the fastest laps in the final lap and finishes fourth! Edgar Canet managed to do well, the RFME rider crossed the finish line in fifth place. Besides Valk and Van Erp, unfortunately we do not see any Belgians or Dutch in action on the Talkessel Circuit.
There are three more matches on the calendar, the first of which is the match in Lommel. This will be held on the weekend of July 23-24.
