Kenzo Jaspers dominates in Emmen
In Emmen, Kenzo Jaspers won the third race of the European Championship 65cc North-West. The 9-year-old rider wins both heats with a safe lead. The success of the AK Bouw-Hutten Metaal Junior MX Team is completed by Hidde Hutten! The rider from Beerzerveld finished second and sixth, placing him second in the daily rankings ahead of the Finn Eeka Laaksonen (10-2).
Jaspers was the fastest in qualifying and the rider from Zegge will continue this trend in the races on Sunday afternoon. Jaspers takes the lead and does not relinquish it. Teunis Spijkerman seems to be in second place, but he is surprised in the last lap. Hutten takes second place and Spijkerman completes the Dutch top three. Chento van Zoest crosses the finish line in fourth place ahead of the Dane Casey Karstrom.
Jaspers also leads the entire race in the second round. Laaksonen follows at a safe distance and comes second ahead of Harry Dale. The Briton had some problems in the first moto, but the second moto went much better for him. Maxim Zimmermann is able to resist Dale for a long time, but he drops back and also sees Van Zoest pass. However, in the last round the Limburger makes a mistake. This still places Zimmermann fourth ahead of Jamiro Peters.
Next time:
The fourth race will be held in the Pentecost weekend, then the series will be hosted in Germany where the Velhan circuit will be visited.
