Elzinga satisfied despite second place
In Riola Sardo, Rick Elzinga finished second during the fourth race of the European 250cc Championship. The Yamaha rider saw teammate Andrea Bonacorsi take the win. Still, the rider from Zenderen was pleased with the warm weekend, here is his story.
Rick Elzinga:
“I managed to win the first heat, but it was very difficult. I had a lot of problems with my forearms, which certainly didn't make my riding any better. The second heat was much better, although I must say that the first five minutes went well. A double for the team so I am very happy with the result. I am also doing well in the championship because I have almost recovered from my DNF from last week. My thanks go to Yamaha, Hutten Metaal Racing and all sponsors. On to France!”
