Tropepe triumphs in Acro, Van de Mierden fifth
The second match of the European Open Championship was won by Giuseppe Tropepe. The Italian finished first and second on the Arco di Trento circuit. The second round was won by Michael Sandner who finished second in the overall standings ahead of Tomas Kohut. The best Laaglander is Jens Getteman, he finished seventh today ahead of Raf Meuwissen. Sven van der Mierden finished fifth in the second round. The JH MX Service rider finished tenth in the daily rankings.
Rene de Jong also scores a point in this round by crossing the finish line in 20th place. Sandner remains the leader in the standings. He now has a 24-point lead over José Butron. Meuwissen occupies third place in the standings.
