Tony Cairoli will ride AMA Nationals
The rumors of a hard training Antonio Cairoli have been confirmed. He will soon start in the AMA Pro Motocross Championship.
The Red Bull KTM legend is ready for his Nationals debut and will compete on his KTM 450 SX-F for at least the first two rounds of the 2022 calendar.
The 36-year-old retired from full-time Grand Prix racing at the end of 2021 but has lost none of his determination to win. TC222 will put its best foot forward in California in May/June. The first race will be held at the Fox Raceway circuit in Pala, CA and the second in Hangtown, CA.
Tony Cairoli: "It's exciting to finally confirm that I will be racing in the US. Riding and racing in America is something I have always wanted to try. I like the layout of the circuits. For me there is no pressure to perform and I am not going there with the same preparation that I would have had for a world championship, but I am taking it seriously and will be looking for good results. I know this will generate some interest and it will be great to travel, meet some friends and enjoy my time."
