De Wolf talks about his first podium finish of the season
Last Sunday Kay de Wolf stood on the podium during the second race of the FIM MX2 World Championship. The Brabander finished third on the sandy circuit of Mantova. The Husqvarna rider was very close to second place but things went wrong on the last lap. Here the FOX-dressed crosser tells his story, he is now third in the standings!
Kay de Wolf:
"I didn't have an easy Saturday, but we managed to turn this around on Sunday. I had a good first moto and the riding felt good. Things also went well in the second heat, but I still made a few small mistakes. I lost concentration a little bit. I was passed by Simon Laengenfelder but wanted to get back at him. We hit each other and I fell. This caused me to drop from second place on the podium to third place. This was a disappointment but I am happy with my podium.”
