Jarno Goossens breaks collarbone in Arnhem
After an unfortunate wrist fracture in 2021, Jarno Goossens did not start the new season smoothly. The Husqvarna rider crashed hard during the second round of the KNMV Dutch Masters of Motocross 125cc in Arnhem. The Flemish broke his collarbone, but that happened close to the neck! This also damaged the neck muscles and he was operated on on Monday. A pin has been placed, but only when it is removed can the 15-year-old rider get back on the motorcycle.
A major disappointment for the rider from Puurs Sint Amands who could only compete in the 24MX Masterkids last year. Next month Goossens was supposed to make his EMX125 debut in Arco di Trento, but that has to be postponed for the time being.
