24MX Tour: Milko Potisek wins, Cyril Genot finishes fifth
The 24MX Tour was a guest in Loon Plage this weekend. It is a new location for this competition. Milko Potisek felt like a fish in water in the sand near Dunkirk. A week after winning his 3rd Enduropale du Touquet, the rider from the north of France also won the first race of the 24MX Tour in front of his own people.
Potisek won the first series ahead of defending champion Maxime Desprey (2+5) and then closed the second series ahead of a very strong Cyril Genot (7+2). On the podium of the day were Anthony Bourdon (4+3) and the Swiss Valentin Guillod (3+4) next to Potisek. Daymond Martens put his Honda in 10th place.
In the MX2 class, defending champion Pierre Goupillon won both races and took victory ahead of Bogdan Krajewski and Calvin Fonvielle. Valentin Teillet finished fourth ahead of Simon Depoers and Marc Antoine Rossi. The next round of the 24MX Tour will take place on March 19 and 20 in Gueugnon.
