We.Love.Moto Racing Team starts with 2 young talents
The We.Love.Moto Racing team will start this year with the two young talents Kyle van Zutphen and Eric van Helvoirt. Kyle will ride a Yamaha 250 4-stroke and Eric will ride the new 125cc Yamaha. They both ride ONK and Dutch Masters of Motocross and where possible they will be at the start at the EMX. The team is not completely unknown on the paddock. Last year they were present as the Gasdevil/Omnius Truckparts team.
Team manager Joost van den Elsen: “After learning a lot with the Gasdevil team for a year, we decided to start with fewer riders. We want to be able to give the right energy and attention to our two driven drivers. That didn't work last year. We are really proud to have been able to attract these two talented youngsters to our team. Together with the support of a large number of enthusiastic sponsors, we think we can achieve great results.”
Rian De Bruyn: “Last year I took over WLM Design together with Joost van den Elsen. We knew from experience that the quality of the products is top notch. But the company was stuck in the existing product range and the designs could have been a bit fresher. Together with our design toppers, we have worked hard in recent months on new products, a new better-functioning webshop and a boost to marketing. WLM no longer stands for a name but for our passion, We.Love.Moto. And what better way to express this than with your own team”
The intention was that the experienced Davey Janssen would represent the team in the 500cc classes. Unfortunately, he had an unpleasant fall in Volkel and suffered fractures in both his wrists and had to undergo surgery. Last week Davey started his rehabilitation and unfortunately this will take months. We who know Davey a little know that Motocross is his great passion and for him it was therefore not an option not to remain involved. Davey has become the trainer-coach of the team. With his experience and knowledge, he will guide the young riders both physically and technically.
Major steps have already been taken under Davey's leadership and a lot of testing has already been done on the new engines. Van de Laar Racing and Buxur Suspension are still working hard to fine-tune the engines perfectly to the riders and ensure they appear competitively at the start.
The two young riders can't wait to be behind the starting gate in Arhem on March 13 for the first Dutch Masters of Motocross of 2022.
On the website www.welovemoto.racing contains more information about the team and updates will be provided very regularly. Of course they are also present on Facebook and Instagram.
