Hunter Lawrence very happy with second victory
In Glendale, Hunter Lawrence managed to win his second Supercross victory. Last year the Australian won a race and now the Honda rider was back on the top step. Here on MXMag he tells his story and looks forward to better starts!
Hunter Lawrence:
“Great weekend here in Arizona! I had no idea what to expect as it was my first Triple Crown. It was exciting with the three matches in quick succession. To be honest, I also expected this evening program to be heavier. However, it is only three sprints, but the day went well. Being fastest in both qualifying sessions and then winning the overall was great. It's strange when you take 2-1-2 and still win, I didn't really feel like I was winning, but it was a crazy night. In the end we stayed out of trouble in all three races and that was rewarded. Huge thanks to the team! I'm looking forward to next weekend, I want to do well there and get a holeshot there!”
