Toendel and Gajser secure their first titles
The second and final race of the Internazionali d'Italia Motocross was held today on the sand circuit of Riola Sardo. In the MX2 class Cornelius Toendel managed to take the victory. The Norwegian also managed to take the title, so the title remains with Fantic after Nicholas Lapucci managed to take the title last year. Tim Gajser won both the MX1 and Superfinals and thus also took both titles.
In the MX2, Jens Walvoort managed to score a neat eleventh place, Lynn Valk crossed the finish line in 29th. In the MX1, Beta rider Jeremy Van Horebeek managed to score a good third place.
