Stewart very satisfied with fifth place
Malcolm Stewart is very satisfied with fifth place in San Diego. Here he looks back on the third game of the season, just like teammates Dean Wilson and Jalek Swoll.
Malcolm Stewart:
“The evening was great! Another fifth place, I am very satisfied! We had a nice battle with Ferrandis and Webb. The podium is very close, a better first half of the race can help me climb onto the podium. We are going in the right direction and I am very enthusiastic about the way I rode. I can't thank the entire team enough. It's all about being consistent and just learning and improving every race.”
Dean Wilson:
“On paper my match doesn't look good, but I actually felt good during the matches. I had a reasonable start in the final but a fall in the early stages caused problems. My clutch lever was broken but luckily I was able to continue. It's a bit frustrating because I felt very good physically and was able to ride a good pace throughout the final. I'm looking forward to the next match.”
Jalek Swoll:
“I know where I need to be, so seventh place is not as desired. After my crash in Anaheim this is the maximum so I will accept it. Of course I haven't put much on the bike lately, but the feeling is good. The starts need to be better but the speed is good. It's my first match of the season, so seventh isn't bad, but of course we want to score better!”
