Justin Barcia on grabbing the Redplate
After Oakland, Justin Barcia captured the 'Redplate' by finishing third in the second round of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship. The GasGas driver talks about the race here and his teammate Michael Mosiman also speaks.
Justin Barcia:
“I just rode my race and had fun. I got a little tight halfway through the race but luckily I was able to recover myself. I'll get closer to Eli (Tomac) which made me keep going. I'm trying to connect with Anderson and Plessinger but they rode great today. I would like to dedicate this race to Fed (Ryan Fedorow), he died last weekend in an accident, this race is for him. I can't thank the entire team enough.”
Michael Mosiman:
“It was so nice to be back in my hometown, the fans were great! It was a fun weekend and I'm sure the fans saw some great games. I'm a little disappointed with the result, but I'm focusing on the positive. My speed was very good and the setting of the bike was also perfect. If you are not able to complete the finishes properly, it will be a disappointment. It's coming, I think everyone knows it and we're on the right track. I'm looking forward to the coming races.”
