Powered by Young Motion & Motor2000 will collaborate
Powered by Young Motion and Stefan Hage's Motor2000 racing team have entered into a partnership for the 2022 season. The team will now operate under the name "Motor2000 Powered by Young Motion". Riders are Jens Walvoort, Lukas Spigeleer and Kelton Gwyther. Walvoort has recovered from an injury that kept him out for most of 2021. He will compete in the EMX250 and ride some wildcards in the MX2, while Spigeleer and Gwyther will compete in the EMX85 and EMX250 respectively.
Stefan Hage, Motor2000 racing “We have worked hard in recent years to create a good foundation with the right material and good physical and technical guidance. We have focused on developing talent. The collaboration with Young Motion offers us the opportunity to continue to grow and make our GP debut with Jens. Our team will also be continuously monitored by the Young Motion camera teams and hospitality will be offered to our sponsors at the GPs.”
Ron aan de Stegge, Young Motion 'We were looking for a young Dutch talent, and Jens Walvoort noticed us after his 3rd training period at the EMX250 in Oss. We came into contact with Stefan and his vision on talent development, establishing a strong basic team structure and long-term ambitions really appealed to us. This has resulted in a collaboration that goes further than just with Jens, and which we also see as a nice addition to our MX2 World Championship participation with Glen Meier.'
All riders and team supervisors will be continuously monitored by a Young Motion camera team throughout the season, including during the GP weekends. These images will be visible on the social media channels of the team and the drivers, for an interesting look behind the scenes.
