Van Doninck escapes with abrasions
The first of the three games in Arco di Trento did not go well for Brent Van Doninck. Just like last week in Spain, the Gebben-Van Venrooy Racing driver did not score. The Herentals-born rider rode in the top ten for a long time in the first round, but ran into problems due to a broken rear wheel and therefore did not finish. In the second moto things went wrong before the first corner after a collision with Thomas Kjer Olsen and Brian Bogers.
Fortunately, the damage is not too bad and only a few abrasions. The 25-year-old will be back in action next Wednesday.
