MXGP Teutschenthal: Update Prado and Herlings
The last seconds of the first MXGP race were full of drama! After the heavy fall by Jeffrey Herlings and Jorge Prado after the finish jump everyone wondered how the riders were doing.
Herlings walked away on his own almost immediately after the incident. Although he certainly suffered some bruises and bruises from Prado's dangerous action, 'the Bullet' remained largely unscathed. Jeffrey Herlings will therefore start in the second MXGP round.
The crash will certainly have consequences for Prado. The two-time world champion was taken away on a stretcher. He injured his left lower leg and Prado was taken to the hospital where his arm was sewn. It seems very unlikely that Jorge Prado will start in the second MXGP round any time soon.
