Lucas Coenen narrowly misses pole
Lucas Coenen narrowly missed out on pole position for the seventh race of the European 125cc Championship. The BUD Racing-9MM Energy rider trained fastest in Group A ahead of Valerio Lata and Marc-Antoine Rossi. Kay Karssemakers had the fifth fastest time, Cas Valk set the tenth fastest time. In Group B, Ferruccio Zanchi is slightly faster than Coenen, meaning he is the first to go to the starting gate this afternoon. Ivano van Erp trains third and Scott Smulders takes the eighth fastest time. Mirco ten Kate has also qualified, the first heat starts this afternoon at 13:05 PM.
