Kawasaki is unveiling ambitious plans for the future
At a press conference in Tokyo on October 6, the President of the newly established Kawasaki Motors, Ltd., Mr. Hiroshi Ito, delivered a speech in which he laid out not only the details of the new venture, but also the vision for the coming years with ambitious and progressive goals that reach up to and including 2035!
Kawasaki Motors, Ltd. will focus on the production of motorcycles, ATVs, Mules and Jet Skis. The new company was created to achieve greater flexibility, speed and autonomy in decision-making and thus be able to respond quickly to changes in the market.
Some highlights from the press conference of October 6:
- 10 new EV/Hybrid engines for 2025
- Before 2035, most engines will be EV/Hybrid
- Concept unveiling EV and Hybrid engines
- Concept unveiling of a Ninja H2 powered motorcycle that runs on hydrogen
- EV and Hybrid development plans for 5 new ATV/MULE models by 2025
- More than doubling turnover in 2030 to 1 Trillion Yen (approx. 7,7 billion Euro)
- Unveiling of Kawasaki's new corporate Identity with the Rivermark logo added to the existing Kawasaki, Let the good times roll logo
