Jeffrey Herlings about his double in Arco
The first of three matches at the Crossodromo Ciclamino will be remembered by fans for a long time. Jeffrey Herlings managed to take victory by crossing the line as winner in both heats. The 27-year-old rider is of course also doing well in the title battle with Romain Febvre and Tim Gajser. Here the KTM rider tells his story about achieving his 97th GP victory.
Jeffrey Herlings:
"It was not an easy victory today. It's a difficult track to overtake. The first moto was tough but in the second moto I had to fight harder. I could see the other riders in front of me and thought this is the time to go. I played it smart and struck in the final phase. I would like to thank Red Bull KTM for the great work they have done. I'm in very good shape at the moment but I don't underestimate the competition."
