Ivano van Erp about his second victory of the season
With a first and fourth place in Arroyomolinos, Ivano van Erp became the winner of the fifth race in the European 125cc Championship. The Yamaha rider took the most points and is doing well in the standings. The 16-year-old rider now occupies fifth place, just two points behind Lucas Coenen. Here the MJC rider tells his story about the past weekend.
Ivano van Erp:
“I didn't get off to the best start today. I had to do a lot of work, but I was able to take the lead in the first moto and win the moto, which was very nice. In the second moto I had a better start but made a small mistake that allowed Bobby Bruce to pass me. I managed to work my way up to fourth place and I saw from my pit board that this was enough for the overall victory. I continued to drive with concentration and managed to take the victory. I would like to thank everyone who helps me and especially team boss Loic LeFoll, my family and all the other sponsors."
