Ivano van Erp about his victory in Teutschenthal
With a first and fourth place, Ivano van Erp won the third race of the European 125cc Championship. The Yamaha rider thus secured the Wilhelmus and climbed to ninth place in the standings! For the last Dutch victory in this class we have to go back to September 2018 when Raivo Dankers won in Assen. Van Erp tells his story here after his victory.
Ivano van Erp:
“I am very happy with the match today. I kept my focus all day and in the first race I was able to achieve my first race victory. In the second race I had to fight back from a not so good start. I stayed focused and rode my own race. I finished fourth and was able to win this race today. I really want to thank everyone around me, my family, my Team MJC, team boss Loic LeFoll and my trainer Kenny Vandueren.”
