Is Kevin Strijbos working on his last GPs?
Yesterday during the second series of MXGP in Intu Xanadu everyone wondered where Kevin Strijbos was. After a poor first series he finished 27thth to finish on a lap of Romain Febvre. This performance had a negative impact in a certain way, which made him decide not to appear at the starting gate for the second series.
He did this in consultation with the team. Earlier this season he was able to regularly score a top 15 place, but that is currently no longer feasible. For a moment he even thought about quitting altogether, but afterwards decided to participate in the last GPs in Italy. His wife and children are also there.
Kevin Strijbos: “We'll see how things go in Italy. It will end one day and that moment is coming now".
