Bogers: “I know I can sit further forward.”
After Lacapelle Marival, Pauls Jonass finds it difficult to live with sixth place in the daily rankings. The Latvian finished fourth and fifth during the heats in France. Brian Bogers has to work hard after a mistake in the early stages of the first heat. Both GasGas riders talk about the twelfth GP of the season on MXMag.
Paul's Jonass:
“On paper this was a very good day, but to end up sixth in the overall standings with a fourth and fifth place in the heats is difficult to accept. I felt strong on the bike in both motos and the setup of the GasGas MC 450F really works perfectly. I just miss that last bit of speed in the motos. Today was an improvement compared to last weekend, making it a positive day. We scored well and we still have a lot of games to go.”
Brian Bogers:
"It was a difficult day for me. A bad start in the first moto combined with a crash on the first lap left me far behind. I was also a bit cramped and the rhythm wasn't right. Unfortunately my start in the second moto was not much better, but after a few laps I finished in fourteenth place. I rode the entire heat here. It wasn't my best day but if I can get a better start I know I can be further forward. That is the plan for the next match in Spain."
