Amber Simons also takes victory in Groesbeek
Last weekend, Amber Simons also won the day in the women's class in Groesbeek. The Limburg TBS Conversions riders were not given the victory this time. In the first heat she took second place behind Lynn Kelders. However, she took revenge in the second heat.
At the beginning of the heat she had to tolerate Kelders and Cynthia Swets before taking the lead in the second round. While Swets quickly had to drop out on the muddy track, Simons and Kelders battled throughout the entire heat for both the heat and the day's victory. Simons ultimately proved to be the strongest and went home with the largest cup. Second place remained for Kelders in both the heat and the daily classification. With two third place finishes in the heats, third place in the daily rankings went to Swets. Daniëlle van Kempen was the only other lady who managed to gain points in both heats and finished in fourth place. Stacey Nooijen completed the top 5 for this day.
