Jorge Prado is struggling with a lower back injury
With an 8th in 17. de place in the series, Jorge Prado could not be at all satisfied with his performance in Arco. It now appears that he suffered a small fracture to his lower back during a training crash.
However, the tough Spaniard did not give in and rode through the pain. During the first moto he had a serious fall and landed again on his already injured back.
Jorge Prado: “I gave it everything I had. Even with a broken bone I was in the fight for the top five in the first moto. It was a shame about the crash with five minutes to go, but I was still able to finish. I suffered greatly. In the second moto I missed the start completely and wasn't happy with 17th place, but I can't really fight at the moment in my situation. Hopefully the pain will be less by Wednesday. A good start is so important here and I also want to make fewer mistakes like I did in the second moto.”
