Wietse Brackman wins both series in Wachtebeke!
Yesterday the pilots of the MCLB federation competed for points in Wachtebeke. In the Inters category it was Wietse Brackman who came out on top twice.
In the first moto the Husqvarna pilot crashed at the start, but he was able to quickly pick up the bike and continue his way. An unleashed Wietse Brackman cut through the suit like a hot knife through butter. After just one lap the young man was in the top five. A few laps later he had even moved up to second place and was able to attack the race leader, Tallon Verhelst. The latter could not match Wacko Bracko's pace. As a result, Wietse Brackman continued to victory in the first series. Behind him, Tallon Verhelst managed to hold on to second place and David Segers finished in third place.
At the start of the second heat, David Segers was the quick starter. The old age blanket on KTM gave Wietse Brackman some resistance in the first laps, but after a few laps he still had to recognize his superiority in the younger Husqvarna pilot, who performed at an extremely high level today. Wietse Brackman then rode to victory without any problems, ahead of David Segers and Tallon Verhelst.
Thanks to the double series victory, Wietse Brackman also took the overall victory in Wachtebeke. This for David Segers and Tallon Verhelst. In the Inters 250cc class the overall victory went to Jérôme Biets, and in the International B Open Damon Tanghe was the king.
