VLM: Herenthout is ready
The circuit is in perfect condition, nice weather is forecast and the marquee is ready to receive the supporters! In short, Herenthout motocross has everything it takes to become a success.
The fact that “Op de Bergen” is being raced again after 28 years is special in itself. Even then, the VLM already settled in Herenthout. This time the organization is led by BCD MX Team, led by Ben Vervloesem and Dennis Dierckx.
For driving force and co-organizer Dennis Dierckx, it is a return to his roots. In 2011, Dennis and his friends took care of the organization of the UMC (VLM / VMCF) confrontation in Grobbendonk. The former Belgian MX2 champion was born into organizing motocross competitions. In the 90s, father René and MC Grobbendonk expanded the site on the Kanaaldijk into one of the most beautiful Belgian motocross tracks.
Tomorrow, in addition to the usual JMS program, a series of 'Golden Oldies' is also planned where ex-drivers will make an appearance. In addition, there is also ambiance in the tent on Saturday evening with a live DJ. Last but not least, this weekend you also have a chance to win a Bullit off-road scooter worth €1200! With a ticket of just €5 you have a chance to win a 212cc off-road bullit bulldog scooter! Yet another reason to go to Herenthout.
