Prado on Turkish pole ahead of Coldenhoff
For the second time this season, Jorge Prado starts from pole position. The Spaniard trains fastest in Afyonkarahisar ahead of Glenn Coldenhoff (photo) and Romain Febvre. Jeffrey Herlings briefly held pole but later dropped to fourth place ahead of Pauls Jonass. The best Belgian is Kevin Strijbos, he trains himself to fifteenth starting place.
World Championship leader is good for the seventh fastest time, followed by Brian Bogers and Antonio Cairoli. Calvin Vlaanderen can choose a spot behind the starting gate as twelfth and Jeremy van Horebeek as 17th. Brent Van Doninck had to be satisfied with the 19th time.
Both heats later today, the first starts at 12.15pm, which means there is a (1) hour time difference with Turkey.
