Jenairo Beerens satisfied with performance
Jenairo Beerens' EMX65 final went well. The Limburger finished fifth on the sand circuit of Riola Sardo! The KTM rider finished fifth and seventh during the motos. The victory went to Estonian Lucas Leok.
Jenairo felt good on the track from training. He managed to qualify eighth for both heats. The start of the first heat is not so good. There is a fall that can be avoided. The student manages to start the competition outside the top ten. The first round is completed in eighth place and then advances to fifth place. This is then neatly held. Kantona passes by for a moment, but the world champion can be caught back. Fifth place goes to Beerens. The start of the second heat is also not great, so you have to chase. From 20th place, the RB-2Fast Junior Racing Team rider returns to seventh place. This puts him neatly fifth in the daily rankings and therefore the European Championship.
Fortunately, from next week the competitions will be closer to home again, there are three more ONK competitions on the program, starting in Arkel.
