Fontanesi wins, Verstappen in a respectable third place
In sunny Turkey, Kiara Fontanesi won the first round of the third race of the FIM WMX World Championship. The Italian won ahead of Courtney Duncan and Amandine Verstappen. The best Dutch woman was Nancy van de Ven, the Zeelander crossed the finish line in fourth place ahead of Larissa Papenmeier. With the 'Redplate' Shana van der Vlist did not get further than sixth place, Lynn Valk came ninth.
