Vos/Susebeek win the National Sidecar Championships in Lierop
Wilfred Vos and Wessel Susebeek managed to win the NK sidecar class in Lierop. Veldman/Leferink came second and Vaerenberg/Wesselink came third.
The top ten from the time training for the NK class rode in Lierop with the ONK class. In the first heat Veldman/Leferink scored best and in the second heat they were also well on their way until this combination got stuck in a deep rut and they spent several minutes trying to free themselves from the sand. This was grist to the mill for Vos/Susebeek who rode their race well. She thus deservedly took the day's victory in Lierop ahead of the unfortunate Veldman/Leferink and Vaerenberg/Wesselink.
In the B group heats of the NK Sidecars, the Könst brothers managed to win the first heat. The young Ruben Van Werven, together with local favorite Nick Maas in the arena, managed to win the second heat.
