Technique: this is how you inflate tires
On motocross you can inflate your tires with a foot pump or a compressor. Not everyone has these things available during a weekend of motocross, but now there is a very handy solution available: the Bosch EasyPump!
The gem is a rechargeable pump with an internal motor to inflate your tires and is available at any DIY store. We took one off the rack at Hubo and got to work. The nice thing is that the pump is no larger than, say, a drinking bottle and that it can be charged via a USB port on your laptop or via the charger of your mobile phone.
There are accessories hidden behind a handy flap to inflate your bicycle tires, a football and something like an air mattress or a sitting ball. The EasyPump can pump up to 10 bar pressure and is adjustable. This means that you can set a maximum pressure on the display. The pump then stops automatically when this pressure is reached. The device is powerful enough for car and motorcycle tires, but an adapter is also included for bicycle tires and swimming pool accessories. You can also choose between bar, PSI and kPa. The price fluctuates around 75 euros.
