Marek beats Van Drunen in the last round
In a particularly exciting match, Vitezslav Marek won the first round during the EMX85 final on the island of Sardinia. In the final round, the Czech manages to take full advantage of stragglers who cause Lotte van Drunen problems. The Sliedrechtse comes second very well, but is of course angry with the stragglers! Janis Martins Reisulis takes third place ahead of Gyan Doensen and Noel Zanocz.
Douwe Van Mechgelen finished in seventh place, while fellow countryman Ian Ampoorter crossed the finish line in eleventh. Dean Gregoire finishes fifteenth ahead of Jayson van Drunen while Jarno Bervoets scores 18th. The last point goes to Sem Taspinar who received an invitation at the last minute to take action here.
