Christian Burnham in Belgian Vets MXdN team
This weekend the annual high mass of vintage motocross takes place at Farleigh Castle. The Motocross of Nations for veterans was won in 2019 in the EVO class by the Belgian team with Filip Van Dijck, Sven Breugelmans, Steve Ramon and Ken de Dycker. However, team manager Danny Scheers had to look for a replacement due to De Dycker's back injury. He found it in Christian Burnham.
The multiple German champion made waves last year in his first Vets MXdN. Moreover, Christian rode a beautiful Yamaha 490 in Farleigh Castle anyway. “First of all, it is a shame that Ken cannot be there. On the other hand, I am honored that Danny (ed. Scheers) thought of me to drive for Team Belgium. We expect nice weather in Farleigh this weekend, the track is in great condition and I get to drive for a great team. What does a man want more!"
In addition to the Belgians, the Americans (Keith Johnson, Sean Hamblin, Mike Brown and Doug Dubach) and the British (Kurt Nicoll, Billy Mackenzie, Mark Eastwood, Mervyn Anstie) also have very strong teams.
