VIDEO: Behind the scenes of the Monster Energy Yamaha MX2 Team
The Yamaha Factory MX2 Team is based in Genk and that is why the MXGP in Lommel was an important race for the three riders Jago Geerts, Maxime Renaux and Thibault Benistant. They also rode a hell of a race in the heavy sand of the Heeserbergen.
Geerts won convincingly with a series victory and a second place. Maxime Renaux also managed to achieve a podium finish and was able to retain his red plate as leader in the World Cup. Benistant finished fourth in Lommel and is classified sixth in the standings. The three take you behind the scenes of Hans Corvers' team and talk about their experiences this year in the MX2 class.
